I have lived in Colorado since the age of 7 when we moved here from Kansas. I graduated from undergrad in 2001 at Colorado State University with a degree in Health and Exercise Science. I then decided to get my teaching license and master's degree from CU Denver in Elementary Education. I've been teaching since 2004 and here at Woodrow since 2017. I am married and have two amazing kids, Kali and Keegan, so I have experience as a WWA parent as well. I enjoy reading, photography, being outdoors, and watching a lot of soccer (everyone in the family plays soccer except me).
