Hi, my name is David Cardenas. I have been a teacher for 21 years now. My experience has been in everything from 4th - 8th grade. In Middle School, I taught both math and PE. I enjoy helping kids get those “ah ha” moments. I earned my B.A. degree in Psychology from UC San Diego and I have a Master’s in Education from San Jose State University. My lovely wife and I have two wonderful boys who attend Woodrow in 2nd and 4th grade. We are all excited to be a part of the Woodrow Team. I enjoy watching and playing sports. My favorite teams are the SF Giants, GS Warriors, and the 49ers. I also enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, backpacking, camping and traveling. I’m looking forward to my 1st year here at Woodrow Wilson Academy!
